List Title
At Christ United Methodist Church, we value the fellowship that comes along with getting closer to God. We believe that through fellowship, study, and ministry we can enhance each other's thinking and understanding. The small groups below are groups where people who aim to seek God meet together and engage in the experience of fellowship, study, and ministry.
Monday morning men
Weekly bible study
Helping hands
Every Monday morning at 9am, these men look to engage in fellowship, coffee, and study to grow stronger in faith with one another. Their meetings take place in the multi-purpose room upstairs.
Every Tuesday at 10am, people along with our Pastor, David Keyworth, meet together and do bible studies at our church.
Some people in our congregation partake in the Helping Hands Ministry. They don't necessarily have organized meetings, but they do help in the kitchen and help set up events that take place in our Outdoor Worship center and our multi-purpose room. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and compassion.
Youth Group
Our youth group is the third Sunday of every month from 6-7:30pm, starting in August. Our youth group helps run events, they study with one another, and are active in ministry helping with maintaining Kidsgrove, making cards for the sick, spreading the word to people in Africa, and so much more.
Sunday school
Our Sunday School is at our church from September to June. Children ranging from the age of a toddler to a 4th grader can come down and have a message geared towards their learning of God and who He is during our regular church services.
conversation ministry
Our conversation ministry will help those in need and will also go to Pennsfield Apartments every month to visit and give communion. This month, however, they will not be going down to Pennsfield Apartments. Their work can not be understated and we truly appreciate them.
